"Di Meo is Rotax DD2 Champion, Ostella and Vincec are runner-ups"

Hamilton, Ontario - April 2, 2007 - The Cameron Motorsports CRG National Team was out in force at the final weekend of the Florida Winter Tour. Nine drivers took to the track in Ocala including Michael Di Meo and David Ostella who were vying for Tour Championships.

“Both Michael and David had fantastic weekends that saw misfortune preventing them from finding better results. In the end though, their consistency throughout the FWT paid off,” said CMI’s Trevor Wickens.

Michael Di Meo won the Championship title in Rotax DD2 in his rookie season of Senior competition and Ostella brought home a second position in the Rotax Junior Championship.

Of note also is Michael Vincec, who was runner up in Pro Shifter a few weeks ago. Vincec starts 2007 on a high note following is 2006 dream season that saw him be crowned Formula Senior champion at the Canadian National Championships as well as the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship.

The Cameron Motorsports CRG National Team drivers are now back home and getting ready for the first round of the Snap On Stars of Karting Championships’ Race of Americas which will be held at the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex in Norman, OK on April 13,14,15.
