Hamilton, Ontario – November 29, 2007 – Canadian karting operation Cameron Motorsports (CMI) is pleased to announce the signing of Rotax Junior pilot Ayrton Triolo. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan resident will travel South in early January to compete at the Homestead Karting circuit over the January 11-13 weekend aboard a Rotax powered CRG. “We are pleased to have Ayrton join the Cameron Motorsports squad,” exclaimed Danielle Duffy from the Cameron Motorsports Karting Complex in Hamilton, Ontario. “The Florida Winter Tour is a great series and is very competitive. I think that with the experience of our program and the driving abilities of Ayrton, we can make him a front runner right out of the box.” Ayrton was first introduced to Karting in 1999 at the age of four where he hung out with his Dad Carlo while he competed in the Senior Honda division. Through the next couple of years, Ayrton began traveling with his dad to races throughout Saskatchewan before beginning his own racing career in 2002. In Ayrton’s first season of competition he finished fifth in the overall club series championship and turned heads of experienced drivers and teams along the way. In no time, Ayrton was winning races and championships and became a force to reckon with in the junior ranks of Canadian karting. After a successful ’07 racing campaign which saw Ayrton compete in his rookie season in the Rotax Junior category, the talented Canadian pilot will take his assault on the Rotax field South of the border. With last years Rotax Junior runner up and DD2 champion coming from the CMI tent, Ayrton will look to gain the competitive advantage gained by the team and look to make it a repeat for the Cameron Motorsports squad.
