CAMERON MOTORSPORTS: CRG REVIEW
“Strong outing for CRG drivers at Florida Winter Tour”

Hamilton, Ontario – January 25, 2008 – The Cameron Motorsports (CMI) elite karting team and CRG scored seven top ten results and had some strong showings at the first round of the Florida Winter Tour held at the Homestead Karting Complex in Homestead, Florida.

With more than ten drivers competing in five different classes, the Cameron Motorsports squad had their work cut out for them as drivers and teams from across the world descended on the Sunshine State. Coming home with CMI’s strongest results was Canadian pilot Michael Vincec.

Vincec scored a second and third place result in the Pro Shifter class and added a strong fourth place finish in Sunday’s DD2 action. Joing Vincec in Pro Shifter was Texan Cody Jolly who came home with two top fifteen results including a seventh place finish in Sunday’s feature race.

CMI had a host of Rotax Junior drivers including Michael Lombardi, Dylan Oribine, Ayrton Triolo and Kyle and Arron Attard. With almost 70 junior drivers registered, making the final was the main goal and was achieved by Lombardi and Oribine in both Saturday and Sunday’s action. Lombardi was able to score a 14th and 16th place result while Oribine came home 34th and 30th.

“The competition at the FWT is tough,” explained Cameron Motorsports Danielle Duffy. “A lot of our drivers are here as a warm-up for the season and I think that they all did fairly well. We are definitely looking forward to the next event at Moroso Motorsports Park.”

CMI also had two drivers in the Micro-Max division scoring three top ten results. Nelson Learn finished a strong tenth in Saturday’s action before improving in Sunday’s feature to come home fourth. Kurtis Deboer did the same as he bettered his 11th place run on Saturday to finish ninth on Sunday.
