CAMERON MOTORSPORTS/CRG CANADIAN NATIONALS PREVIEW

“CMI sends 13 drivers to Quebec”

Hamilton, Ontario – August 6, 2008 - Cameron/CRG will look to make 13 its lucky number this weekend as the Hamilton Ontario-based team heads to Grand-Mere, Quebec, and the 2008 Canadian National Karting Championships. A cast of thirteen drivers will race in four classes, beginning today with unofficial practice and continuing through Sunday with Qualifying, Heat Races, Prefinals and Finals.

Leading the way will be Cameron/CRG’s only prior National Champion, Michael Vincec. The shifter and rotax racer captured the 2006 National ICC Championship at Stratotech Park outside Edmonton, Alberta, and will be looking to become the first repeat ICC Champion in the ten-year history of the Canadian National Championship. Vincec will be joined in the shifter class by rookie Addison Rayner, who has been racing anywhere and everywhere in learning the trade. He currently leads the Ontario Regional Karting Championship and Brian Stewart Racing Karting Championship in points, and is very much looking forward to seeing a big field in Quebec.

Aside from shifter, Cameron/CRG will see action in the three main Rotax classes, with strong representation in each. In Rotax DD2, Curtis Fox, Enrico Menotti, Michael Di Meo, Eric Simon and Darren White will be flipping the paddles looking for Italy while White and Menotti will join Mike Lennie in Rotax Max Senior. Five juniors complete the roster as Adam Lemmon, Ayrton Triolo, Dylan Oribine, Corey Luciano and Jeffrey May hit the track beginning today.
